Types of Paths

Walkways We Install

Every property is different. We design walkways to fit your landscape, your home's style, and how you actually use your outdoor space.

Front Entry Walkways

The main path from your driveway or street to your front door. Often the most visible paver project on your property — we make it count.

Garden & Landscape Paths

Winding paths through flower beds, around trees, and across lawns. Great for both function and visual interest in any landscape design.

Side Yard Walkways

Functional paths along the side of your home for utility access, trash cans, or connecting the front yard to the backyard cleanly.

Pool-to-Patio Connections

Seamless pathways connecting your pool area to the patio, outdoor kitchen, or back door — creating a cohesive, resort-like flow.

Why Paver Paths

Benefits of Paver Walkways

Instant Curb Appeal

A paver walkway is one of the fastest ways to dramatically improve how your home looks from the street — immediate visual impact, lasting impression.

Comfortable Underfoot

Natural stone and quality concrete pavers provide a stable, comfortable walking surface that's far more pleasant than cracked concrete or bare mulch paths.

Protects Your Lawn

Defined walkways prevent foot traffic from wearing down your grass and mulch beds, keeping your landscape looking neat and intentional year-round.

Easy to Maintain

Sealed paver walkways resist staining, weeds, and weather. If a single paver ever shifts or cracks, it can be replaced individually at minimal cost.

How We Do It

Our Walkway Installation Process

1

Layout & Design

We mark out the walkway path with you present, discuss width, shape, paver style, and any edging or border details. We can suggest curves or focal points to enhance your landscape.

2

Excavation & Edging

The path area is excavated to the right depth, edging restraints are set to define the walkway borders, and drainage is addressed so water flows away from the path.

3

Base & Sand Layer

Compacted gravel base followed by leveling sand creates a stable, even foundation that keeps your walkway flat and solid for years to come.

4

Paver Installation

Pavers are placed in your chosen pattern, cut precisely around curves and edges, and checked for alignment throughout. Borders and accents are added as planned.

5

Jointing, Compaction & Sealing

Polymeric sand is swept into joints and the surface is compacted. A professional sealer is applied to lock in the color and protect against Florida's weather.

Common Questions

Walkway Pavers FAQ

How wide should a front entry walkway be?

A comfortable front entry walkway is typically 3–4 feet wide to allow two people to walk side by side. For a grander entrance, 5–6 feet is popular. We'll help you determine the right width for your space during the consultation.

Can a paver walkway be installed over tree roots?

Yes — interlocking pavers are actually better than concrete in areas with tree roots because individual pavers can be lifted and reset as roots grow, rather than cracking an entire slab. We assess root situations during design.

How long does walkway installation take?

Most walkway installations are completed in 1–2 days. Larger or more complex projects with multiple paths may take 3 days. We work efficiently to minimize disruption to your property.

Can you add lighting to the walkway?

Absolutely. We can coordinate with landscape lighting installers or prepare the path for in-ground LED step lights and border lights. Let us know during your consultation and we'll plan accordingly.
